Alrighty guys, this is still the same tutorial it always was (for those of you who had this faved, or those of you who have happened to look at this before) I just reorganised it so it is a little easier to follow (as well as adding a tiny bit more information about making more complicated bows down at the bottom there)

This is the method I use to make bows. The finished product looks like this and
Also an example of a snowflake or flower bow (mentioned at the bottom) can be seen here

I came up with this method, though it is pretty straightforward, so I am sure I'm not the only one who has figured out bows this way.
I wrote out this entire tutorial myself, including making all those little drawings. So if you wish to repost this somewhere please ask me first.

If anyone had any questions feel free to ask ^^ I’m always so happy to help people whenever I can!

Didn't follow the steps to the T, but I'm happy with it. Thank you for this tutorial, it led me in the right direction.

I'm kinda confused here, do you only put the interfacing on the large (tube) part of the bow? Or do you put them in the small tube(s) too?

I'm a newbie at sewing, and I'm making this for my lolita. I'm curious to know, since I want to add lace at the loopy parts of the big bow and the ends of the tails, should I sew on the lace before I make the bow or could I sew them on at the end? Which would be easier? And what would be the best fold to do for a lolita bow?

Thanks~

you only need to interface the large part of the bow. As for sewing on ribbon I would certainly suggest doing that before you assemble it. It will be much easier to do before the bow is all put together. I would also suggest doing a mountain fold for a lolita bow ^^

Hope that helps!
