Wooo another shot of my Star Trek costume! I really like this one, though yes I will say I do find it odd I am sitting on a skateboard. Thank you very much to Kevin (SolarTempest) for letting me borrow his skateboard XD

I have worn these dresses to four different events already and they are just so so much fun to wear I don't plan on retiring them anytime soon! I do think I may remake the one.. but other than that I love these so much!

This photo was taken by the awesome Carroll Kong

More photos will definitely be coming soon! Other shots from this set are right here

I'm not surprised why you love these dresses so much Cosplay Scion.....I love them too, and dearly wish that I owned one....especially one of this premium quality!

As much as I love blue normally....there is something really special about these red dresses - or red shirts - which those actors wore in the original series.

Whether it was the combination of dye & fabric type used back then....the red gear seemed to stand out more than that in any other primary colour.

If you've watched any episodes of the original shows which have been remastered, or indeed view any high resolution post production photos from the shows in question: you'll realize exactly what I'm saying.

The colour of the red dresses or shirts from this era appears that much more intense than those of blue, or yellow, and really seems to leap out of the screen.

For me personally: none of the general uniforms from TNG; DS9, and so on....have ever been quite as visually striking!

This is precisely why the red dresses from the original series were always my favourite....for there is more of this glorious material on view (than the shirts): the aesthetic magnificence of which is enhanced no end: if such a dress was > is worn by a woman of stunning beauty, and voluptuous anatomy: with black tights, and knee length black boots, etc....

You for one are certainly in this category!

I can only dream of emulating you in such Cosplay!

Good job on an Original Series uniform! Have you ever thought of doing a movie-era uniform/skirt version? Or perhaps a TNG/WoK mix of that? (link: [link]

Maybe you should have had a Back to the Future Hoverboard to sit on? Great work!

Hahahahah that would have been awesome! The skateboard was actually completely random. Kevin one of the photographers road to the shoot on it so I was playing around on it and then photos had to happen with it XD I just really like how the photo turned out
